CHAMPIONING LEGISLATION THAT PROTECTS WOLVES & WILD SPACES
Women for Wolves works to mobilize people in support of policies that protect wildlife, strengthen ecosystems, and promote coexistence. In 2026 alone, we've already advocated on more than 50 wildlife bills, public comments, agency actions, and conservation campaigns spanning wolves, grizzly bears, public lands, endangered species, Tribal stewardship, and habitat protection.
Current priorities include SB 1135, California's Wildlife Coexistence Act, which would establish the state's first long-term framework for human-wildlife coexistence; AB 2218, supporting Tribal leadership in water and ecosystem stewardship; and SB 1350, advancing grizzly bear recovery and public education.
These represent just a few of the conservation efforts we are actively championing. Through public education, grassroots advocacy, coalition building, and legislative engagement, Women for Wolves helps turn public support for wildlife into meaningful conservation action.
